This month featuring
Westminster City Council digital inclusion initiatives by Irene McWilliams @irenedigital Irene will talk about two current initiatives:
- Charity Cloud Computing Network: the aim is to reduce costs for charities through alternatives to direct funding. The city council are holding an IT support forum for charities in March and discussion will include: what dopeople need to live in a digital world http://www.westminsterintouch.
com/ - Getting homeless people online: the aim is to get smart phones and free wifi for homeless people to help them keep in contact with family and agencies, giving them an address and identity.
